Please review carefully these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) before using the services offered by Sussex Venture Partners Ltd (company number 14451532), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Bolney Place, Cowfold Road, Bolney, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, United Kingdom, RH17 5QT (also “Streamu”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between Streamu and you, and govern your use of our website located at https://www.streamu.app/ (the “Website”), the Streamu mobile and connected-device applications (the “App”), and all related services, including any information, text, graphics, software, communications and emails (the “Content”). For ease of reference, the Website, App, Content and our services are together called the “Services”.
Streamu is a parental-control service that helps parents and guardians choose, organise and manage the YouTube channels and videos available to children. Streamu is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian (the “Parent” or “you”) on behalf of a child user (a “Child”). The Parent is solely responsible for the account, for choosing which content is made available to the Child, for supervising the Child’s use of the Services, and for accepting these Terms on the Child’s behalf where relevant.
This is a paid service offered after a free trial. Streamu does not automatically charge you when your free trial ends — your access will simply stop, and you will need to purchase a subscription to continue using the Services. Subscriptions can be purchased through the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, or directly at streamu.app, and are linked to your Streamu Account so a subscription bought on one platform works across all of them (see Section 7).
Please read these Terms carefully (in particular, Section 7 “Free Trial, Subscriptions and Payments”) before starting a free trial or purchasing a subscription. If you decide to subscribe and later wish to stop, you must cancel through the same channel where you bought the subscription (Apple, Google, or streamu.app) before the next billing date — uninstalling the App does not cancel a paid subscription.
These Terms contain important provisions, including disclaimers about the content available through the Services (Section 2), parental responsibility (Section 3), disclaimers of warranties (Section 10) and limitation of liability (Section 11). Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of England and Wales that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. General Terms
1.1 These Terms create a legally binding agreement between you and Streamu. Please read them carefully before using the Services.
1.2 Please also read our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we collect and use personal data, including information relating to children. The Privacy Policy and any other policies or supplemental terms posted on the Services are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice — for example by email or an in-App notification — before they take effect. Other changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date below. If you do not agree to changes, you should stop using the Services and may cancel your subscription. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept them.
1.4 If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, or if you are not eligible or authorised to be bound by them, please do not download the App or use the Services.
2. Important Information About the Content
2.1 Streamu is a parent-managed content access tool, not a content filter. The videos, channels, thumbnails, comments and other material available through Streamu are hosted by YouTube (a service operated by Google LLC) and are produced by independent third parties. Streamu does not create, host, own, sponsor or endorse this content.
2.2 Parents choose what Children can watch. The Services work by allowing a Parent to assign specific YouTube channels and/or specific YouTube videos to a Child’s profile. The Child’s profile will only show the content the Parent has assigned to it. Streamu provides basic organisation features (such as sorting), but Streamu does not independently vet, classify, age-rate, moderate or filter the content of any YouTube channel or video.
2.3 Channel-level assignment makes every video in that channel available. If a Parent assigns a YouTube channel to a Child’s profile, all videos currently in that channel and any videos later added to that channel by its owner will be available to the Child’s profile, without any additional filtering by Streamu. YouTube channel owners can add, remove, edit, monetise, or change the content of their channels at any time, and Streamu has no control over and no advance notice of those changes.
2.4 Per-video controls. Within a channel that a Parent has assigned to a Child’s profile, the Parent can also choose to hide specific videos from that profile, or conversely to allow only specific individual videos. It is the Parent’s responsibility to review and configure these settings, and to keep them up to date as channels and videos change.
2.5 Possible future “Explore Mode”. Streamu may, in future, offer an optional “Explore Mode” that allows a Parent to permit a Child’s profile to search for and discover YouTube channels and videos directly. If introduced, Explore Mode may include configurable options (for example, keyword filtering, “auto-allow then review later”, or “review before allowing” workflows) which the Parent can set to determine the scope of what the Child’s profile can search and access. Explore Mode is not a current feature. If and when it is launched, it will be subject to these Terms (as may be updated) and any additional terms we publish at the time. Even with Explore Mode enabled, Streamu does not warrant that any keyword filter, review queue or other control will identify all unsuitable content; Parents remain responsible for the settings they choose and for supervising their Child’s use of the Services.
2.6 Parental responsibility is essential. Because Streamu does not filter the content of the channels or videos a Parent assigns, the Parent is solely responsible for deciding which channels and videos are appropriate for each Child, and for reviewing that content on an ongoing basis. We strongly recommend that Parents review any channel before assigning it, periodically check the content that channel is publishing, and use the per-video hide/allow controls (and, in future, any Explore Mode review tools) to manage what their Child sees. If a Parent considers a video, channel, comment, advertisement or other content to be inappropriate, they should hide or un-assign it from the Child’s profile immediately.
2.7 No algorithmic recommendation to Children. Streamu is built on a parent-controlled model. Streamu does not, and will not, use algorithms, machine learning models or large language models (“LLMs”) to recommend, suggest, autoplay, queue or otherwise direct YouTube content to a Child profile that has not first been assigned by the Parent. We may in future use algorithms or LLMs in the operation of the Services — for example to help Parents organise content, to support search by Parents, to assist with any Explore Mode review workflows (Section 2.5), or for internal product analytics — but any such use is for the benefit of the Parent, not to drive content discovery by the Child. YouTube’s own recommendation, autoplay and “Up Next” systems sit outside Streamu; the App is designed so that a Child profile only plays back content the Parent has assigned.
2.8 YouTube’s own terms apply. Because the Services play YouTube content, the YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy also apply to use of that content. Streamu has no control over those terms, or over changes YouTube makes to its platform, APIs, content library, advertising practices, recommendations or policies. If YouTube changes, suspends or terminates the features Streamu relies on, parts or all of the Services may become unavailable, change in functionality, or behave differently than described.
2.9 No medical, psychological or educational advice. The Services do not provide medical, psychological, developmental or educational advice. Any informational or educational content available through the Services is for general interest only and should not be relied on as professional advice. If you have concerns about a Child’s health, development, screen time, or wellbeing, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.
3. Accounts, Children and Parental Responsibility
3.1 To use the Services you must create an account (“Account”). The Account must be created and managed by a Parent (a parent or legal guardian) who is at least 18 years old and has legal capacity to enter into a contract.
3.2 By creating an Account you represent and warrant that: (a) you are a Parent of, or legal guardian for, each Child whose use of the Services you set up; (b) all information you submit is accurate and you will keep it up to date; © you have authority to provide any personal data relating to the Child that we ask for, and to consent on the Child’s behalf to the processing described in our Privacy Policy; and (d) your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws.
3.3 Children may not create their own Accounts. A Child uses the Services only through a profile within a Parent’s Account, under the Parent’s supervision and using the controls the Parent has configured.
3.4 You are responsible for keeping your Account login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your Account, including activity by a Child. You must notify us at [support@streamu.app] immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your Account.
3.5 We may suspend or terminate your Account or your access to the Services, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if continued provision of the Services to you would put a Child at risk, or if we are required to do so by law.
3.6 By using the Services you agree to receive service-related communications from us, including subscription confirmations, security alerts, and important changes. You may also receive a newsletter, product updates and tips by email or push notification; you can opt out of these non-essential communications at any time through your Account settings or by following the unsubscribe link in any email.
4. The Services
4.1 You agree that your use of the Services will comply with these Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and any reasonable usage limits or guidelines we publish.
4.2 You are responsible for the devices, internet connection and any third-party accounts (including any required YouTube or Google account) needed to use the Services, and for all related fees and data charges.
4.3 We may change, update, add to or remove features of the Services at any time, including features that are currently included in your subscription. Where a material change reduces the functionality you have paid for, we will give you reasonable notice and, where required by law, offer you the right to cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for any prepaid unused period.
4.4 From time to time we may offer additional, optional features — for example new filtering modes, family-sharing options, or content packs (“Additional Features”). Some Additional Features may require a separate payment or be subject to specific terms. Where an Additional Feature is described as “lifetime”, “permanent” or “one-time”, this means it will remain available for as long as Streamu continues to offer it commercially; we may modify or discontinue such features in future, in which case we will give reasonable notice and, where required by law, an appropriate refund.
4.5 We will use reasonable skill and care in providing the Services, but the Services are made available on an “as available” basis and may from time to time be subject to downtime, maintenance windows, or interruption caused by third parties (including YouTube). We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
4.6 We aim to respond to customer support requests within a reasonable time but do not guarantee any particular response time.
4.7 Activity data for Child profiles. To provide features such as resume-from-where-you-left-off, “currently watching” lists, frequency-based sorting and basic usage history, Streamu records information about how each Child profile interacts with the Services — including which channels and videos are played, how often they are played, total playback time and last playback position. This data is held against the Account and the relevant Child profile, and is used to operate, personalise and improve the Services for that Account. It is not used to recommend new or unassigned content to a Child (see Section 2.7). Parents can view and, where supported, clear this activity data from Account settings. How long we retain it, and your full rights in respect of it, are described in our Privacy Policy.
4.8 Connected TVs, gaming consoles and other devices. Streamu is designed to work across a range of consumer devices, which may include mobile phones, tablets, personal computers, smart TVs, streaming devices (such as Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Amazon Fire TV) and games consoles. Not all features are available on every platform; some platforms may receive new features later than others, or may not receive them at all. Your use of the App on a particular platform is also subject to the rules of that platform’s app store, manufacturer or operating system (for example, Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms, Microsoft Store Terms, the relevant TV manufacturer’s app store terms, or console-platform terms). Where those rules conflict with these Terms in relation to platform-specific matters — such as app distribution, billing collected by the platform, or refunds processed by the platform store — the platform’s rules will govern.
4.9 Shared and family devices. Where the Services run on a shared device — for example a family smart TV, a games console, or a tablet kept in a common area — anyone with physical access to that device may be able to use Streamu as the signed-in Child profile, including switching between profiles configured on the Account. You are responsible for managing physical access to devices on which Streamu is signed in, for signing out of devices you no longer wish to use, and for applying any platform-level controls (PINs, the platform’s own child profiles, app pinning, etc.) that you consider appropriate. You also acknowledge that physical access to a device generally allows a user to leave the Streamu App and use other apps or content sources on that device; Streamu cannot prevent this and is not responsible for content accessed outside the App.
5. Intellectual Property and Your Content
5.1 The Services — including all text, graphics, logos, software, design, compilations and arrangements — are owned by Streamu or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Streamu does not claim ownership of YouTube videos or other third-party content shown through the Services; those remain owned by their respective rights holders.
5.2 Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Streamu grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, and to use the Services, for the personal, non-commercial use of you and the Children in your household.
5.3 Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from the Services or any part of them.
5.4 If you submit any feedback, suggestions, ratings, reports about content, allow-lists, block-lists or other material to us (“User Content”), you keep ownership of it but grant Streamu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, store, copy, modify and display that User Content for the purpose of operating, improving and promoting the Services. You confirm that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your User Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights or contain anything unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate (and in particular, anything that could harm a child).
5.5 Third-party trademarks and non-affiliation. YouTube™, YouTube Kids™ and the YouTube logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Google™, Android™, Google Play™ and Chromecast™ are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple®, App Store®, iPhone®, iPad® and Apple TV® are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product, company and platform names mentioned in the Services may be the trademarks of their respective owners. Use of these names and marks is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply endorsement. Streamu (and Sussex Venture Partners Ltd) is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Google LLC, YouTube, Apple Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
6. App Stores, YouTube and Other Third Parties
6.1 The App is distributed through third-party app stores (including the Apple App Store and Google Play) and operates alongside other third-party services (most importantly YouTube). Your use of those services is governed by the relevant third party’s own terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any app store, YouTube, Google, or any other third party.
6.2 You agree to comply with the rules of any app store you use to download or pay for the App. Where required, you acknowledge that the relevant app store is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
6.3 The Services may include or link to advertisements or other content from third parties. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any third-party content, ads, websites, or products. Any dealings you have with third parties are solely between you and them.
6.4 In particular, content on YouTube — including videos, comments, recommendations and advertisements — is provided by YouTube and third-party uploaders, not by Streamu. Streamu lets a Parent control which YouTube channels and videos are made available to a Child’s profile, but Streamu does not vet, moderate or filter the content within those channels or videos. We are not liable for content that is hosted, recommended, advertised or otherwise made available by YouTube or its users, including content that appears within channels or videos a Parent has chosen to assign to a Child’s profile.
6.5 Technical dependence on third-party platforms. Streamu depends on the technical infrastructure, APIs, page architecture, content delivery systems and policies of YouTube, the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store and other third parties. Those parties may modify, restrict, update or discontinue their platforms, APIs or terms at any time, without notice to us. Such changes are outside our control and may temporarily or permanently affect the availability, accuracy or functionality of the Services. We will use reasonable efforts to identify and resolve compatibility issues caused by such third-party changes, but we do not guarantee any particular timeframe for doing so.
6.6 Reporting issues. If you experience problems with the Services — for example, content failing to load, the App misbehaving, or unexpected content appearing in a Child’s profile — please report it as soon as possible to [support@streamu.app] with as much detail as you can (device, App version, what you were doing). Prompt reporting helps us fix issues faster for you and other users.
7. Free Trial, Subscriptions and Payments
7.1 Free trial. When you create an Account, you may be offered a free trial period of the Services. The length and features of any free trial are described in the App or on the Website at the time of sign-up. You do not need to provide payment details to start a free trial unless we expressly tell you otherwise.
7.2 No automatic charge at the end of the trial. Streamu does not automatically convert your free trial into a paid subscription. When your trial period expires, your access to the Services will stop and your Account will be placed in a restricted (subscription-required) state. We will not charge you any fee on the basis of the trial alone.
7.3 How to restore access. To regain access after a trial ends, or at any other time, you can purchase a Streamu subscription (a “Subscription”) through any of the following channels:
- the Apple App Store, as an in-app purchase on a compatible iOS device;
- the Google Play Store, as an in-app purchase on a compatible Android device; or
- directly through our Website at streamu.app.
The available Subscription plans, billing periods (e.g. monthly or annual) and prices will be shown to you before you complete a purchase.
7.4 One subscription, all platforms. Your Subscription is linked to your Streamu Account, not to the device or store where it was purchased. This means, for example, that if you purchase a Subscription through the Apple App Store, you can also sign in to your Streamu Account on Android (via Google Play) or on the Website and your Subscription will still be valid on those platforms during the same billing period — provided you sign in with the same Account. You should not purchase more than one Subscription at the same time; if you do, you remain responsible for cancelling any additional Subscriptions through the relevant store, and we cannot guarantee refunds for duplicate purchases.
7.5 Auto-renewal of paid Subscriptions. Unless we tell you otherwise at the point of sale (for example, where a fixed-term pass is offered), Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or our Website are recurring and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until cancelled. We (or, where applicable, Apple or Google) will charge the payment method linked to the channel you used to subscribe. For the avoidance of doubt, this auto-renewal applies only after you have voluntarily purchased a Subscription — it does not apply at the end of a free trial.
7.6 How to cancel a Subscription. You can cancel at any time, but you must cancel through the same channel you used to purchase:
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store: cancel via your Apple ID subscription settings (support.apple.com). Streamu cannot cancel Apple subscriptions on your behalf.
- If you subscribed through the Google Play Store: cancel via your Google Play subscriptions page (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). Streamu cannot cancel Google subscriptions on your behalf.
- If you subscribed directly through our Website: cancel from your Streamu Account settings or by emailing [support@streamu.app].
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you keep access until then. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid except as set out in Section 7.9 or as required by law. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a paid Subscription.
7.7 Price changes. We may change Subscription prices. Where a change would affect renewal of your existing Subscription, we will give you reasonable advance notice (and, where required by law, your consent or right to cancel) before the new price takes effect. Where the Subscription is billed through Apple or Google, the relevant store’s own notification and consent rules will also apply.
7.8 Statutory cancellation right (14-day “cooling-off”). As a consumer in the UK or EU, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel a contract for digital content for any reason. However, by starting to use the Services (whether on a free trial that converts into a paid Subscription, or on a paid Subscription you have just purchased) you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that, once supply has begun, you lose the statutory right to cancel. Outside of this, you retain all consumer rights you have under English law, including remedies if the Services are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described.
7.9 Refunds. (a) Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to that store’s refund policy. In most cases, refund requests for those Subscriptions must be made through the store and Streamu cannot process refunds for purchases we did not collect. We may share account and usage data with the relevant store to help them assess refund requests. (b) Subscriptions purchased directly from us through the Website are non-refundable except where required by law (including the statutory rights referred to in Section 7.8) or where we choose, at our discretion, to grant a goodwill refund. © We do not refund fees that have already accrued and do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods, except where required by law. (d) Where Apple, Google or a payment processor refunds, chargebacks or otherwise reverses a payment for a Subscription, we may suspend or end the corresponding access across all platforms (including any platform the Subscription was not originally purchased on).
7.10 Authority to charge. You authorise us, our payment processors, and any app store you use, to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.
7.11 Tax and processor fees. Where applicable, prices may be subject to VAT or other taxes, which will be shown before checkout. Payment processors and app stores may apply additional fees that are not collected by Streamu.
7.12 Lost access for non-payment. If a renewal payment fails (for example, because your card has expired or your store account has insufficient funds), your access may be suspended until the issue is resolved. The relevant store may have its own retry, dunning or grace-period rules; we have no control over these.
8. Acceptable Use
8.1 By using the Services you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
- you are the parent or legal guardian of, or otherwise lawfully responsible for, any Child whose use of the Services you set up;
- you will not access the Services through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) other than as expressly permitted;
- your use of the Services will not breach any applicable law (including export controls and sanctions); and
- the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
8.2 You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose;
- use the Services to access, share, generate, or expose any Child to content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate for children;
- attempt to circumvent the parental-control, profile, age-gating or security features of the Services (including by allowing a Child to access content the Parent has not assigned to that Child’s profile);
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- copy, scrape, or systematically extract content or data from the Services to build a competing product or any database;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code into the Services;
- interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Services or the networks they rely on;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship to a Child;
- use the Services in any way that could damage Streamu’s reputation or that of YouTube or other third parties whose services we rely on.
8.3 We may investigate suspected breaches of this Section and take any action we consider appropriate, including suspending or terminating your Account, removing User Content, and reporting suspected illegal activity to authorities.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Streamu, its directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and reasonable costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your or a Child’s use of the Services; © your User Content; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right. This indemnity does not apply to the extent any loss is caused by our negligence, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty, or anything else for which liability cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 Except as expressly stated in these Terms, and subject to Section 11, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, representations and conditions, including any implied terms about satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.
10.2 In particular, but without limiting the generality of Section 10.1, we do not warrant that:
- the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
- any YouTube channel, video, comment, advertisement or recommendation that is available through the Services (including content within channels or videos a Parent has assigned to a Child’s profile) will be accurate, lawful, safe, age-appropriate, or otherwise suitable for any particular Child;
- any future Explore Mode features, keyword filters, review queues or similar tools (if introduced) will identify all unsuitable content or will not incorrectly flag suitable content;
- the Services will continue to work, or work in the same way, if YouTube or another third party changes its platform, terms, advertising practices, recommendations or APIs.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for matters that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — see Section 11.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; © any breach of the terms implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (title and quiet possession); (d) any liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that cannot be limited or excluded; or (e) any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
11.2 Subject to Section 11.1: (a) we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise; (b) our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you have paid to us for the Services in that 12-month period, or (ii) £100.
11.3 You acknowledge that the Services are provided to consumers for personal use and that we are not liable for business losses.
11.4 We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures or changes of third-party services on which we depend (such as YouTube, app stores, payment processors or telecommunications providers).
12. Termination
12.1 You may stop using the Services at any time and cancel your Subscription as set out in Section 7.6. You may also ask us to delete your Account by emailing [support@streamu.app]. Where you ask us to delete your Account, we will delete or anonymise the personal data associated with it within 30 days, except for data we are required to retain by law (for example, transaction and tax records) or that we need to keep to handle a complaint or legal claim. Further detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12.2 We may suspend or terminate your Account or these Terms immediately if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the Services to you would create a serious risk to a Child or to Streamu.
12.3 On termination, your right to use the Services ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14) will continue to apply.
13. International Use
The Services are designed primarily for users in the United Kingdom. We make no representation that the Services are appropriate or available for use in any other location, and access from territories where doing so would be unlawful is prohibited. If you access the Services from outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local law.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 You and Streamu agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
14.3 Nothing in this Section affects any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country in which you live.
14.4 Complaints. If you have a complaint, please contact us at [support@streamu.app] and we will do our best to resolve it. If we cannot resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you may be entitled to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution provider; we will tell you about any relevant ADR scheme at the time.
15. General
15.1 No waiver. If we delay enforcing any right under these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
15.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
15.3 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Subscription Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Streamu in relation to the Services and supersede any previous agreement.
15.4 Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another business, for example if our company is sold or restructured; this will not affect your rights under these Terms. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent.
15.5 Electronic communications. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically (by email or in-App), and that electronic notices, agreements and records have the same legal effect as if in writing and signed.
15.6 Third parties. Except where stated otherwise (for example in relation to app stores), a person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce them.
